the image looks like a picture of the reflection from a dentist mirror. also the line of upper teeth don’t fit with the level of the persons cheeks/upper lip.
also circumstantially, wouldn’t we imagine some salive, trace cells, or fog if such a piece of glass were lodged in someones face?

I’m not sure it’s fake. Her teeth look low, but her mouth is being pushed up by the device, and some people have low teeth anyway (surely you’ve seen people with a very gummy smile).

Are the top teeth really too low? When my mouth is closed, my top teeth extend below the bottom of the vermilion border of my bottom lip. Plus, the lens appears to push the bottom lip up higher than normal.
There’s also a reddish, inflamed-looking ring around it. Not saying it’s not photoshopped. I’m just not totally convinced that it is.

it’s not fake.close your mouth and you’ll see your teeth meet a little below your bottom lip. also the top arc of the ring is pushing her lower lip up, so that is why the teeth appear way lower than normal. also the bottom teeth are lined up exactly where they should be.

Fake, yes. But the level of the upper teeth is correct for the expression… go ahead and make that face and feel for your teeth. The true giveaway is the lighting (as usual), the tight expression mismatched to the separation of the teeth, and the fact that the lens would be touching with enough force to press the lower gums and flesh into the glass. That would make it flatten… try it on something clear and look in the mirror. Nice try though.

I’m pretty sure this is just a metal ring, not a lense. Why would someone put glass in their head? Most body mod jewelry is open in the center on purpose. Also, not shopped. The iritation around the (freshly?) stretched hole is evident. Hard to shop if you ask me.

@me She only appears to have a ‘tight expression’ because her lips are being pushed together by the device. That purple L-shaped line on the left looks like it could be something being pressed against glass, but then who said there’s glass there anyway? It could just be a grommet.

I went and took a look around bmezine. This is a “common” mod called a large gauge labret. This girl appears to have a 3/4″ labret, but has put an ear plug in her lip. It’s legit, and there are several shot of people gauged out like this, but with solid plugs in, instead of a hoop.
There’s only 252 PAGES of people with crazy lip piercings/stretchings like this in their Scalpelled and Other Large Gauge Lip Procedures section.
